Holding Back The Tide (2026)
Hurst Castle Spit is an important shingle bank arcing out from the border of Hampshire and Dorset. Sheltering the rich sea marshes in the western Solent. A carbon sink and home to rare sea birds. Funding to repair stopped, storm surges more frequent - a fatal breach will wipe out habitat that cannot be replaced.
Acrylic,discarded wood, copper leaf.
